Here are several updates to make sure you are making the most of this Fall Season: 2022-2023 SMAC PROGRAM Keep in mind that we opened a second section of our in-person only Module I: Assessment & Treatment of Injury class, Huatuojiaji Points: Vertebral Fixations & Facilitated Segments (HTJJ) in Dallas, Texas on October 8-9, 2022. We still have a few seats left so if you are interested, do not
delay in registering! We are also now at waitlist only for our SMAC Program Module II: The Low Back, Hip and
Groin, live, in-person only, 5-day Assessment & Treatment of Injuries (ATI) course. As with our sold out Module I ATI course, we have started a waitlist and hope to announce the opening of a second section of this class in a TBD location in early October! 4. FEATURED ARTICLE Sacroiliac Joint Pain: Psoas Reactive to the
Piriformis By: Matt Callison, L.Ac. In this blog (with video!), Matt
Callison shares a useful functional assessment using manual muscle tests between the psoas and piriformis. An imbalance between this muscle is commonly seen in sacroiliac joint pain. This examination is effectively combined with acupuncture to acupuncture points UB 58 and K3.
