It's hard to believe that we’re halfway through 2023! Solstice has passed, and we have a lot of announcements for you this month.
First off, we are proud to announce the completion of our 16th Sports Medicine Acupuncture
Ceritification (SMAC) Program! We are also so excited to welcome SIX new certified Sports Medicine Acupuncture practitioners to our ranks—one from Australia. This program is possible, no matter how far away you are!
We
are also happy to announce that the 2023-2025 SMAC PROGRAM IS OPEN FOR REGISTRATION! We’re aware there were some technical mishaps with our website after a major
upgrade—all is working now with major a new and improved registration system coming soon. As always, if you have any issues with registration, just reach out to us at acusportinfo@gmail.com.
As a reminder, the new 2023-2025 SMAC Program is now being offered as two tracks:
- ALL IN-PERSON TRACK —12 new & improved in-person classes
- HYBRID TRACK — 10 recorded webinars and 4 live, in-person only Assessment & Treatment of Injury classes
We listened to all your feedback and requests to streamline our offerings and make the SMAC Program more succinct and accessible for students all over the world.
In addition to the two new tracks, we are
also now offering the four required live, in-person only classes on both coasts—in San Diego, California AND Bloomfield, New Jersey—to make it easier to attend these classes!

Keep in mind...you have two entire program years to
complete all required classes if you are pursuing certification AND you do not need to start with any particular module or take modules in order. Participants also have the option to matriculate in SMAC Program classes at any time and to take individual courses either in-person or online. All live, in-person and recorded courses are NCCAOM and CAB CEU/PDA approved!
