Coming up November 23-24, 2024, in New Westminster, BC, Canada, we will be hosting the Assessment & Treatment of Low Back and Hip Pain at the WCCMT!
Injury to the low back will often involve hip symptoms and conversely, hip pain frequently stems from
the lumbar spine so observing them as one complex and including them both in assessment and treatment can provide more lasting results. In this class, imbalance of the musculature acting on the hip and low back will be discussed along with treatment protocols to help correct these muscle imbalances and alleviate pain. We will examine injuries from a mechanical “how and why” using orthopedic physical evaluations and manual muscle testing to assess the integrity of the musculoskeletal system, and
you will learn unique treatment methods including advanced needle techniques, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitated stretching and myofascial release techniques.
