Adhesive Capsulitis & the Extra Point DaiJianZhen
The daijianzhen extra point is a must to treat in cases of adhesive capsulitis (AC) as it directly affects the rotator cuff interval (RI).
The RI is a distinct anatomical tissue that stabilizes the shoulder joint and prevents excessive external rotation. This
tissue has been shown to become adhered in AC patients and is directly related to the limited range of motion observed with this condition.
The author has had significant results with needling the extra point daijianzhen followed with mobilization techniques.
