7. JOIN OUR NEW FACEBOOK GROUP
On July 1, we created a NEW Sports Acupuncture Facebook Group to provide a platform where members can post interesting treatment strategies and share clinically relevant discussions that are beneficial to the sports
acupuncture community.
The group is closed to the general public, but is not exclusive to C.SMAs. It is open to ALL licensed acupuncturists and acupuncture students (proof required). ALL members of the group are allowed to post. Below is a portion of the group's About description:
"This group is open to licensed and registered acupuncturists. The goal of this sports acupuncture group is to build unity in the field of Sports and Orthopedic acupuncture and to promote this field within the larger acupuncture community. While the administrators of the group are the creators of Sports Medicine Acupuncture®, sports and orthopedic are welcome to post and discuss. The group is lightly moderated. Information from
all traditions of acupuncture are welcome and encouraged, as they are collectively integrated into this forum, but please keep the conversation relevant to the above stated goals."
The current SMA Google Group (for C.SMA practitioners) and SMA Facebook page will remain the same.
8. ACUSPORT EDUCATION'S STRATEGIC ALLIANCES
We want to make sure you know about—and benefit from—the beneficial alliances that AcuSport Education has formed with Lhasa OMS and Unified Practice. This is just one of the ways we are fulfilling our goal to support our program graduates!
